Maybe post a photo of how you're connecting the deck to your equipment and the front panel settings? Might help us understand what's going on.

False alarm, the cables were plugged in correctly but the red one was damaged. Luckily I have spares from my original Xbox days (some more of my 'ancient' tech :wink2).

I'm pretty much ready to go. I've set up my deck (Sony TC-K570), created a playlist on Spotify (Premium) and I will be recording onto a TDK AR 60 cassette.

I prefer to not release my tracklist to the public, to remain a surprise to whom receives it... at least until all receipts receive them ;-)

I'm almost done recording my master tape. I'm recording from vinyl to a metal tape with dbx so then I can make final copies without any loss of quality and while fully keeping in the analog domain.

Seconded, the Technics SL series are cracking turntables. And that Technics deck... Very jealous, Hugo!
Maybe when I've done my degree and found a job, eh? :lollegs:

I received a mixtape from Ivica yesterday and I was doing a quick listen as well, on my Nak RX-505. The tracklist is very nice and it sounds good. I'll comment more later on a second listen.
He also added a Raks tape as a gift
    Thanks Ivica!

Hugo you are welcome and thanks ;)

I will be very grateful fot your opinion about this rockmix tape.

Even now I can buy this Raks tape here in Croatia. As I now they worked a lot with BASF.

P.S. You have a really nice gear ;)...I must find some nice turntable, I have one Philips but I am not satisfied with his sound.

    Best Regards,
    Ivica
