Thought of this after reading Boodokhan's Conion V-121F Wanted post. I wondered what my Pioneer C-3 would look like in the horizontal layout. Then I tried a double-stacked layout. Neither of these layouts work in the real world, as the ribbon cable is only 3" long, but I thought it might be visually interesting. I suppose I could fashion up a longer cable, but I don't plan on any mods to this unit because it's nearly perfect and I'm only the second owner since purchased new in 1984. Stock Configuration (old photo): Horizontal configuration: "Double-Stack" configuration: The handle is just for aesthetics. There's really no way to attach it in this position, so it was sort of a balancing act to get it to stay for the photo.
Very beautiful box in any configuration but I prefer to place it in horizontal position. Thanks for sharing
