Anyone fancy a mix tape exchange? You record the music you like and I record music I like and we do a swap, so you never know what you will get.

If you fancy a swap let me know and we can get one going.

    I love this idea.
I received a cassette from Hugo and have been listening almost everyday to this cassette since the songs recorded on this cassette are some of my favorites and the quality of this cassette is amazing.

Unfortunately i do not have a high end recording deck but hopefully will receive one from one of our most respected member soon ( or hopefully soon).
For now my recordings on cassettes are not ideal but as soon as i receive my super D6C will join the "mix tape exchange club"

I think it's a great idea. Trouble is I'm too lazy to make the tapes even for myself lol...hundreds of blank tapes and I still rarely record any. Good idea tho :)

I would happily do it, don't want to record one on my boomboxes tho as the quality wont be good enough, im going to look for a little portable recorder like a TC5 or something,.....

I'd like to swap a tape with you. Pop & rock from the 80s is fine for you? No dolby?

That's fine. You will have to wait after Christmass too, so no problem here :)
    Yes, no Dolby too.

A SONY TC-D5 Pro II should be fine, although you must find which tapes suits best for its bias internal adjustment. Otherwise you'll get dull or excessively bright recordings.
I suggest a Marantz PMD-430, which is cheaper and as a good 3-head, you can control the bias and get more precise results...
