My little webpage

Hey all. I though I'd share something I've been working on for the last few days. Wanted to create my own site so used wix.com. Was really easy. It's a work in progress. This is all new to me so will definitely make some mistakes but will learn along the way. Just wanted a space to showcase some of my collection and also linked to this site (hope that's ok with the admins). If its not let me know. Anyway check it out and give me your thoughts.

Try now. I changed the name. There was another site on wix.com called buzzboxx. A little too familiar so decided to change it.

 

Wow, you've done a great job on that website. I really like the animation on the homepage.

I'm especially jealous of your boxed WM-3 and that 3EX.

 

Thanks. Will be updating the gallery in the coming weeks. Will also be adding a section for whenever I get a new Walkman or any other audio gear and will do a small review on it.

 

Taken offline for now. Working on getting a proper domain for it. Will update soon.

Sorry all. I decided to take it offline for now. I just registered a domain name and will need to wait 2 months before I can transfer my site over. This will give me time to make changes and improvements. Basically it will be a gallery of my ever growing collection with some info on them. Will link this forum and others for newbies too.

 

Here's a little preview of what it might look like. So much work even for the small content I will be having. Will be working on all the photos, artwork myself.

 

Ok so here it is. In its very very early stages. Some feedback would be nice. First time creating a website. Spent the weekend creating the backgrounds from my own photos and also learnt how to create watermarks for my photos too. Plenty too learn. I would like to add a blog in the future, covering new audio stuff I get whether its a Walkman, cd or cassette deck, speakers, headphones etc. Site is currenty on wix.com but will be transferring to my own domain in a few months.

I love the orange color wood background. I think you should add another tab as "item for sale" option to sell your extras

Thanks. Taking a small break from the Walkmans and all Walkman related stuff. The webpage is almost done. I just need to wait a few more weeks before I can transfer it to my own domain.

 

Hey all. So finally transferred my site over to my own domain. I've added a blog post too. Will use this to update on any Walkmans I have for future sales. Anyway check it out and let me know what you think. It's nothing too special. It's all still quite new to me.
