The sony is a 2000+ crap i forgot when i got it.

I like the looks of the ct 950 or 900 but then i can add them to my ugly wish list together with the jvc pc v series late 80s early 90s

And if you bought it for that price back in 1994 i am really really sorry! lol

"Some static from the right speakers until you bump on the volume button, then it goes away and the right speaker sound comes on. The cassette holder comes out but is hard to stay in. Have keep pushing it in otherwise it pops all the way out. Cassette is not working. The power comes on but there is no movement. Lights work, antennas are intact. Needs cleaning to restore shine or maybe you can't on the knobs. I will include the batteries for the buyer, keep looking for the power cord at my mother's place."

I am off topic but i get it.............

Those conions maybe the american way of life in boomboxes something like the shelby gt 500:
Crap of a car, especially the chassis
    Nothing works
    I does not turn
    Looks amazing
Repairs are almost impossible (20000+/year sunday driver costs)
    Everybody wants one
    Bad investment
At the end everybody drives an import!

I had a Panasonic RX-FT500 back in the day, had line inputs that I had connected to my Amiga, I loved that thing. I stupidly let a mate borrow it whilst he was decorating his flat and I never saw it again. I'm trying to find another one for sensible money. It was nothing overly special but it was part of my childhood so I have a lot of fond memories. My brother is a Man Utd supported (for his sins lol!) so he had a comparable Sharp one, never sounded as good as my Panasonic and lacked the line inputs too. I wouldn't consider any of the Panasonic ones posted up to be fugly imo, beauty is in the eye of the beholder after all.

If i would not find them appealing i would not be not talking about them m8,plus as a 37y old those ones i posted (early 90s) are from my childhood i was 10 the time we got them and guess what the Hitachi cd and tape still play and do not need re-belting,the panasonic just died and needs only belts and a screw that is lost and opens up like a tin can plus i think my father let it to sit in the sun for too long i am not able to deep clean the exterior it lost its shine at some parts of the plastic!
