I have just watched Top of the Pops - The Story of 1983 and one of the videos they showed was this Summary - The Style Council go punting (a type of boat) with a Boombox. Just what you need during a Long Hot Summer. The question is what type of Boombox is it.

According to RadioMuseum http://www.radiomuseum.org/r/hitachi_trk_8290e.html the box would have been two or less years old when the video was filmed. Thinking back to another thread I just had an amusing thought. "What happens if you fall in the river wearing Apple Airpods ?" - A Rhetorical Question, although I would imagine with built in (Lithium ?) batteries it could get interesting.
