Nice box. A friend did something similar, except that he's really cheap. lol He used a jewelry box from Bombay Canada (a store that sells reproductions of vintage furniture and nick knacks made from various woods). He bought some very thin wood from Home Depot and redid the inside of it to hold his favorite Walkman. He lined the inside of the box with thinly padded velvet that he bought from eBay. The box he bought looked similar to this one. I was actually surprised at how well it turned out. After seeing his, I want to make one too.... just so family and friends can ask me "What's in the box?".
