my problem is that i must press the play button continuously to play music. the Play button mechanism don't lock. is someone could help me
Hi, I have a d3 and there is a ‘hold’ switch on the front which if damaged means the playback does not function correctly. This could be the problem.
It looks like that the 2 tin levers which locks the buttons are dirty and they dont move freely. They can also be bend. Those are very precise mechanical parts, any dirt or deformations can cause them not to work properly, I have seen many cases like this. In any case you need to tear apart your walkman.
