hi, has anyone worked on the bottom tape deck, what the best way to get to it, do you take the whole inners out or just take out the pcb thata half hiding it, thanks

jeff if you got royals c100,bigtime congrats,that was a minter...
last time i had mine apart,it was a right pain,if you can,just try and remove the plate from the back of the deck and try and change the belt that way first,taking the innards out is a bit crappy,all the wiring is fixes to the front of the casing,the innards come out,then you unplug "alot" of wires,but make sure you remember to label each set of wires so you know where they go..it is defo a pain..you have to be patient and have a steady hand..i think there are some pics some where on here..
