Conion C126F, No audio

dracoamericanus - 2010-07-17 07:42

Does any one have any advice or a schematic for the audio amp ic? This unit is driving me batty and i can not find and service info on this unit.
It has an LA4507 installed as the output amp but when signal tracing i am coming to think this may not be the correct amp ic as it overheats with no input or load connected and may have been worked on by another tech before this came to my bench for service. Does any one know where i could find service info or has anyone run into this problem?

hello draco,i dont know about the C126 but the C100 has a simular layout on the front as your 126,in the conion C100 is a HA1392..but if your amp chip is the right one for your box,and its burning up,its definately blown and needs replacing..you can find amp chips on ebay,or you can find parts on electronic componant websites..

I agree. Go with the obvious first as an overheating component doesn't necessarily need input or load to overheat. Because it can certainly fail short and be internally shorted. The Sanyo LA amp chips are common in lots of these Conion, wheely, tecsonic type of boomboxes.

Try this:
