Hummm.... I must have "F"ed up....

let me go back and correct that!

Thanks for the heads up, let us go fix that!

bredgeo - 2010-08-27 11:50

There you go!

docs - 2010-08-27 12:19

Sweet!!!
How does the tape deck mechanism have that MD in it too ? Did you connect that internally to the usual input connectors ? Wheres the tape ?

bredgeo - 2010-08-27 12:44

I made a vid on that (even a couple, I think)... Let me link it.

If not, the depth of the 9595 door (that is the depth at which the cassette is in the door) left more than enough room to put the SHARP MD, thus nothing to the tape placement and mech has changed.

I then cut the pre amp to the phono line in... have a 3.5 jack out of the MD going to the phono amp (the MD which is epoxied to the door, after having cut the opening to that door cover)... And Voila!
---------------------------------------------
Now, down there won't be the main vid with more 9595MD detail... But with what is written above and this vid, you can see quite well.

Later!

Hey Eddy,

The IC amp chip, after the volume control (The LM 13600N) was the dyeing amp chip!!!!

Did you see the little vid I posted at the top (I did not make pics or a vid of the repair un-soldering and soldering).

Hey Bredgeo, you think you could help me via PM with tracing the problem back on a 9797, sounds like its the same issue as you had. Only one channel in operation but amp chip proven to be okay just no crackling sound but nothing on the left channel.

bredgeo - 2010-09-01 07:01

Yep!

Take pics of your internal circ board... And we can go from there (normally it should be an IC chip right after the volume con Treb/bass... I have got the number for the 9595's chip, it will be diffrent with 9797, no doubt).

PMing now.
