anyone know how to fix the tuning string on a fisher ph 430

i took it apart to clean the eq and when i had it apart the tuning string came off does anyone know how to put it back on
does anyone have picturs of the insides of the boombox to see how the string goes back on

You may have to try different ways of reattaching. Once you get it back on and working you can move the pointer on the string to set radio station Big Grin

Its a bit of a challenge and tricky,
Like solving a puzzel.

i fixed it. it took a long time to figure out how to put it back on.

one other problem is that i can't get two of the eq sliders working the ones for the treble.
on of them works on one channel & not the other. & one don't work at all

Try some deoxit/tuner cleaner, its better to take sliders apart but if you can't spray a little inside slider or and pot and slide or turn back and forth, you can do same on switches Big Grin
