ok look at my boombox behind my iThunder on left side of this message

its a sanyo m-9940k and it uses 6 batteries which is a total of 9 volts. will it hurt my boombox to give it 9.6 volts?

Hi - should be OK. Anything within 10% should be fine. So up to 9.9volts would be OK. Obviously the closer to 9 it is the better though.
