Antenna options

SmileHere are 2 very good options for better tuner reception when your ferite or telescopic antenna has broken off your bbx,and u have not replaced it.
My old Ge box,and my Panny 5010 Lost Their antennas thanks to my Ex's Dumb Cat,thinking the boxes where his personal scratching posts!(can u tell I'm a doggie person! Big Grin)
I have BOTH of these antennas ,and both are excellent for increasing fidelity and dxing for am,and also help sw rec as well, don't do much for fm,but u can by some other models within these brands specifically for fm reception and those are even less! The portability factor is an issue as far as the bbx itself goes, but the antennas are extremely lightweight so u can still bring them along!
No connections are necessary u simply place the antennas nr the bbx,and adjust the settings for
the best result.
Both of Them have def increased the quality of tuner reception on my boxes.
Both can be purchased on line at radio dealers like c crane.
And Both almost always pop up on ebay for even less money.
1)Terk Am Advantage
2) Select a Tenna
Prices range widely,so it pays to shop around,
i think the select a tenna is a little better, but it's a very close contest. The terk is def more apt to be cheaper and is def just as good! Later! Smile
