Inside the Marantz PMS-7000

Yes it is Floyd, Big Grin Cool and I got it to run on batteries today SUPERYAY!!!!! Now it 100% functional and looks like an easy 8.5 of 10 in condition.I cleaned all the pots and switches and lubed everything.It cleaned up beautifully.

Hello can i see a pic of the amp, nice shots man.I always wanted to see what the innards looks like good build quality too.

Sorry Jimski,I put it back together already. Frown I don't think there is much of an amp though. The main unit is a preamp and the speakers each have their own built in amps. There is a little power indicator led on each speaker to show that each amp is working. If I take it apart again,Ill be sure to get you a pic though,sorry man. Frown Wink

wow skip looks like a spaghetti western in there. Ide hate to have 2 mod the speakers in there you cant even see em, nice job man Cool

It isn't a mass consumer BBX, definitely. Too many boards, with off board connectors ... well designed and well built. Tape mecha looks militar grade ... There's BBX for many years ..
