Sound issue with GF-777

vladi123456 - 2009-05-06 21:42

I have a slight issue with my GF-777 - the right speakers seem to play louder than the left ones, and when I look at the VU meters - sure enough - the left one is barely moving, while the right one is rocking all the way to the right. I know the solution - contact cleaner, but what exactly should I spray?? Thanks in advance! :-D

The function switch.

i say depending where's the sound originating from.."the line in"... "tape"... or radio...

if its the line in which most of the time this is the case...id spray the back switch for line in, at the rca cables section and move that switch a bit while doing so...also the balance knob could be also...hope this helps... Smile

Blaster, thanks!
I have this Sharp in the kitchen, and it plays radio 99% of the time

I just played a tape - and it's the same issue. I sprayed the function switch (thanks Johnny!) - we'll see tomorrow how it sounds. I guess that is what I get for not using it often enough
