Havn't got a clue mate i have no measuring tape here all i know is the conion is about 2 inches taller than the 90.

redbenjoe - 2008-07-28 09:35

16 inches = conion
14 " = m90

Laugh Out Loud
very positive attitude to make your custom shelving BEFORE you have any idea when/if you will have these !!

I keep checking this thread in hopes someone will post a side by side picture... (hint) Cool

ford93 - 2008-07-31 06:01

Hey rimmer don't carry yourself that way is not good mentally and physically you're dwelling on the problem too deep. I know life can be so f***ed up but don't do this to yourself block those thoughts. You need to get out anywhere from those 4 walls!

jt - 2008-07-31 07:47

Rimmer... sorry to hear you're in such a funk... It sounds to me like you need to find something new that really interests you and delve into it, or at least put you into a situation to meet some new people...

I don't know what got you into the rut you're in, but here are a few ideas to get you out of the house and out of bed:

- take up golf
- get a puppy (that will definitely get up early)
- learn an instrument or write some music
- take up photograpy
- go biking
- go on a ski trip
- go to Amsterdam (grin)
- take up woodworking
- billiards (join a local club)
- do some volunteer work
- take some cooking classes
- look up some of your school friends you've not seen in a long time
- try brewing your own beer
- read some books
- go on holiday to Spain
- buy a cheap, beat up model of a car or boat you like and fix it up
- go skydiving
- or diving
- fishing
- archery
- find some new pubs, restaurants or nightclubs to enjoy

As bad as you may think you have it, remind yourself that there are so many people out there that surely have it much, much worse. And there are so many good and beautiful things about this world...

Boomboxes are great, but you can only spend so much time on this forum or on ebay.

Best of luck to you!

I've read that getting adequate amount of sunshine helps allot on depression.also..Omega 3s which is found mostly in fish is also an essential nutrient that many people do not get enough of that also helps out in many ailments including depression...its best to take them in suppliments due to the contamination of mercury found in fish these days....

hope this helps rims...take it light...

redbenjoe - 2008-07-31 09:43

true about the sunshine --
and jt had so many great options --

Hey rimmer you see how life is I saw your thread and gave you some advice ok so now I got a call from my supervisor telling me "I've got bad news". I knew already the answer I'm a statistic in this F**kin' economy!

TEMPORARY LAYOFF!!

Now I have to call the company everyday (mind you, I've got only 200 mins. daytime on the cell phone plan) to see what they have available. I already applied for unemployment benefits through the internet that part was easy lets see what happens next. Sorry I don't want to bring you more down but hey this is what life is all about. I'm taking it in stride believe me I will find a job because I'm very persistent. Cheer up ol lad there will be better days.

what are your 2 top box's
as now that I know that the Sharp is the same
size as the Conion C-100F ,,,, I
am really more inclined to be rid of that Conion C-100F in the future,
no not now in the future, or better to
say that the conion will go before
the sharp's will... James Wink
p,s, you're welcome Big Grin

What's wrong with the Conion, James? I know if I found a Conion, I would choose it over my GF-777 any day. Is the Conion not a good box?
