have two otherwise great boxes with this one nasty problem :
in mono -- they receive at least 20 fm stations VERY CLEAR - but as soon as they are switched to stereo or wide - the reception gets very cracky and totally unusable - with both boxes -- stereo and wide modes are perfect in tape and line-in.
