This box is very simple to work on, deck removes very easily. It is just like an aiwa 880/770.

One thing I noticed was the baffle in the middle of the box. I can only assume this is there to enhance stereo, in effect internally dividing the speaker enclosure. Nice touch.

That's the first time I see something like that and makes sense.
The board position is like toshiba. It's very clever ... so almost enclosure is left to the speakers. Since no board on the back a guees there are less reflections ...
