My boxes are nice & clean but I can't see my reflection in the speaker grills
Please list some cleaning products & brands for polishing:

plastics: mothers plastic polish from autoparts store - it works very good on all plastic, even textured plastic just harder to remove a toothbrush works good. should work well on chrome also

The Mothers plastics polish works good as well as a product from Meguiar"s. Just don't rub the plastic chrome too hard with the polish or it will wear it off easily. I found this out the hard way.....

Heres the stuff I use.
It works fairly well on light scratches,
and works well to bring up the shine of the plastic.
The small bottle is called apple sauce it is a polish.
The othe product is made by Novus.
It is a three step cleaner fine scratch and heavy scratch remover.

Personally I would never use any kind of polish for chrome parts. I also learned this the hard way, and since then have always just used a soft toothbrush and some mild dishwashing liquid. Works absolutely fine. Unfortunately, when the chrome on these boxes gets scratched, it seems there's not much can be done about it as what lies underneath is usually black (helps with the reflectiveness of the chrome). Once you start to polish you risk losing the insanely thin layer of chrome and revealing the black instead.
