List of basic tools + more

masterblaster84 - 2008-01-29 11:16

I was wondering if there is a basic list of items to work on boomboxes. Things such as the obvious like a phillips screwdriver, etc. Also other items such as types or brands of glues or cements as well as cleaners and polishes . I think it would be handy to have this kind of basic information for a boombox repair starter kit. Everybody kind of figures this out as they go but sharing information to make a basic kit might be a nice way to help those less knowledgable or just starting out. Maybe it would help save a few boxes from destruction during the repair education phase. Smile

Here's a starter:
1) Phillips Screwdriver #?
2) Deoxit (contact cleaner)
3) Plastic polish
4) Soldering gun
