Hi all, Can someone tell me what do they think happened when i turned on my radio. I started to smell smoke where you plug the cord in the radio its seems to be coming from the transformer section. The transformer is soldered to the circuit board. Does anyone know where i can get this board it is CONION TC-999 Radio. The board # is 1PB370A-V Because when i took out the board it fell on the floor and cracked in half.

board most likely needs to be repaired.....hard to find replacements for the 999.....a bit more rare box for parts.

i'm in jersey and i have the same box, it might be a shorted rectifier diode causing the transformer to overheat. If you want i can repair the board for you, crack and all, if it needs any parts i can get them too, if the transformer is indeed bad, i can fit a replacement from another 12 volt power supply.
