Howdy folks.

I've got a GF 9090 with the dreaded disintergrated capstan.

I'm told this is easy to replace but my question is, how do I get to the part of the capstan that I need to fix?

Metad & Eddy does know

pull out the fly wheel and the pinch roller needle will appear ....look for the hole that the tyre rotates into and you should find black goo
