I need to remove some severe grill dents

Just received my newly acuired rx dt707 both decks were dead... fixed that but it looks like this stereo has been through hell and back...ie treated like a football...anybody have an idea how to remove the speaker grill dents???

I have removed some of them but not all thanks...awaiting your replies cheerz R.R

Thank you norm...retro...im doing it the painful way a screwdriver pushing out dent by dent....but i think i know sombody with that gear next door...so i'll ask tomorrow...I know i diddn't pay much for this egg but guys it's ever so satisfuing getting her going again and sorting the tents out.....norm i know i have been less than honorable in the past but MAN one thing we all have in common is we all love boomboxes more than life...peace to all..

Jokes aside use a rubber/wooden mallet and a round bottomed vessel or pan as a scaffolding support for your blows. Might help to place a layer of tissues to cushion the blows a bit to avoid messing up the grill 'paint job' although you could always spray paint the grill after removing the dents....have fun! ...

Thanks doc....most the dents are out now...I diddn't dare hit it with a mallet....im just not skilled enough...but thanks my friend....hows things in india??better than here I hope..
