Cleaning volume sliders?

Morning all

Was wondering what the best solution is to clean bass/treble/volume sliders would be on my Sharp GF-9090?

I spilled cider in there and while they still work, I can tell when adjusting the volume that it's still pretty sticky in there.

Any help much appreciated, cheers!

just as bad as coffee in the keyboard... initial thought would be to flush with warm water till the stickyness is gone - otherwise a FULL Disasembly is required now to specifically clean those slider's without damaging anything else

I would take apart which is not hard on the 9090 and give the whole board sliders the lot a good clean with contact spray or headcleaner fluid and give it a good blow with some compressed air before and after cleaning making sure everything is dry and not sticky move all the sliders until they don't stick !! thats my advice at your own risk hope this helps
