Just a matter of time before I resort into that kind of measures lol. Maybe I should fill the space behind the window with combustable gas to disintegrate the corps by fire

Don't try remove the window, you will be better off removing the frame from the box so you can access it all and clean the window as well as the front of the unit inside. Also ensuring you don't damage the tuner window permanently.

I had the frame out today, but couldnt see a way to get to the inside of the window. But if you say it's possible I will try again.

Have to open her again anyway, cause it still has some issues. One dead VU meter, no stereo light (think I connected some wire wrong, it was working before) and it doesn't always shut off automatically after rewind and fwd. This is not the Deliverance box btw, but a second one I got recently

you have to remove all the innards of the unit to get to the window.  will be a bit of work tho.

Yep, it does look nasty! Lots of time compressed air does get it out, but this one likes his grave to much lol...

Nice game! Slightly of topic, but I'm looking for Double Dragon for my Atari Lynx for a long long time

bison - 2013-08-11 15:43

ive got rampart and graveyard dog i did have quite a few lynx games

michiel - 2013-08-12 13:54

I've got all the commercial available games for the Lynx. Except Double Dragon. Can remember playing graveyard dog a lot in the past! It's a funny game, but haven't played it for years now. I'm collecting Lynx games since 1991  Funny, Atari Lynxes do suffer from bad caps, like our boxes!

The tuner window is glued along its lower edge and hooks on some locators along the top. If the glues not too strong you can lever the tuner window off from underneath...mine came off easy that way. But please be careful!

What's this nasty glueing thing with the M70! Im also struggling to get the speaker grills out for a respray! Think I'm going to try cleaning the window from the inside first, as I'm pretty sure I damage it. There is no movement at all when I try to put some sharp knife between the window..
