im.out.of.hear - 2009-12-21 01:25

Brigadier Vytas,i say you should buy it,its quite a large box, looks nice..here in the uk you never see those..

brigadier.vytas - 2009-12-21 02:06

thank U, Gettoman. One of my good friends will celebrate his b-day at night before new year's night and i'm looking for a nice gift:]. I don't know if here, in Lithuania are many real owners of such stuff, the seller is just getting some boxes from Germany, from re-sellers of german cars. The problem is, that this hustler knows about the prices and he is asking about 100 bucks, like it's ebay;].Maybe it's worth much more, but for me- a jobless guy it's little too much :].I'll ask for discount:]

pioneer - 2009-12-21 02:42

I AgreeYa Get the discount and you'll have a pretty sweet boomer there.seen those in canada under a kentech brand name.Im not sure how they sound though but it sure look's 'Dope'

brigadier.vytas - 2009-12-21 03:38

Thanks, Pioneer. The Hustler says "ok, ok, i'll make the discount 4 u ..". Tommorow i'm going to meet him and i think, i'll buy that boomer for my friend:].

Funny, this is my picture!
Not a bad boombox. There´s lots of AKA´s.
This model comes with two headphone sockets. Thats quite unique because you can listen to different sources on each headphone.

brigadier.vytas - 2009-12-21 04:17

vielen dank für die antwort. Yes, the seller said, he took the pic from the net and now we know who's real pic owner:].Just found out ,that this model is Toshiba's clone, like Kentech and many others.

andyboombox - 2009-12-21 04:49

its a really good looking unit, that.i bet thats ready for some heavy street justice!

brigadier.vytas - 2009-12-21 04:59

well said, thanks, AndyBig Grin. I'm sure, that guy will use the box in the streets to. Btw, he's best known MC in Lithuania :].

bendycat - 2009-12-21 12:24

see if you have any thing that will sweeten the deal - some thing that he would want - can work some times and you might get it cheaper mate

cheers B Wink

AKA Kentech
crazy loud and the absolute clearest sound of any of my boxes.
Not the most bass in the world but it definitely has enough.
For when you MUST rock the entire block!!

Cheers OSS

brigadier.vytas - 2009-12-22 03:15

thanks for help, guys, have the box already:]. It needs some repairing, but i have couple of days till my friends b-day. In general it's in pretty good shape.

brigadier.vytas - 2009-12-22 03:56

also at home of the seller i found on his fridge THIS :

in totaly ideal condition, but not for sale yet. Becouse of its niceness (even) he wants to keep it for a while.

That's weird how the tweeters are shielded by grills that point downwards.....Why would you want the sound to be vectored downward?

brigadier.vytas - 2009-12-24 01:41

it's just design details. tweeters are in the middle of those plates and they have triangular holes right there, so nothing is happening with the sound.

mmmmmmm.......wonder what that could be said mrs claus

There are a lot of AKA's for these Sankei boomboxes. Mostly, I'd say you get a fairly loud box. Not hi-fi quality by any means. Mine is the Kingspoint brand, which seems to be rarer than the Sankei brand. It sort of grows on you.

Here is mine. It features soft touch controls and a blue color behind the grills that really pop out at you.
