well there's a wednesday carboot sale on, and so i thought i would take a look

not much there - some new spary cans going cheap - they will do for the respray on my grills

some other bits for a couple of mates

so i thought right one more look round and i'm off - thrid line along and i spot some thing Eek this is where you have to walk slowly up to it and pretend that your not too bothered that you want it Wink

well it was a Philips D444 Nod Yes with a price tag of £5 Eek - so five pound later i was walking off with another box Wink

radio works - handle needs a tighten - deck may need a new belt as it slows down and stops - heat mark near the power button but can live with that Wink grill needs a spray, apart from that all cool

well this is my second D444 in a week and both at the price of £5

here's some pic's Wink

cheers B Wink

They actually sound pretty good, they're just a bit fiddly to feed source wise. The best bet is through the line in but most sources will require an amplifier to help get the input level up to acceptable volume.

They sound fantastic off of the tuner as well.

I got you. It's almost similiar to REALISTICS SCR-8!!! Good to listen to, but not really made for Pumpin' It Up, like a Lasonic!!! Wink

Good info, 928GTS!!!

I Agree A real pretty nice unit, but i expected a littlebit more power for the giant look.
But when you ever find one - get it! Wink

I would say that it's not the greatest sound as bass looses when up high - but still not bad and will sound alright as long as you not trying to let the other side of the park here you Wink

and again it looks very cool which is where it wins points with me Nod Yes Laugh Out Loud

Heard one of these last week in a fellow member's collection and have to say it was much better than I expected after the poor reports I've heard on here. Didn't blow me away like say, the JVC M70 did when I first heard it, but still reasonable.

Nice pair Cool

I also have identical twins. I was so worried about having another set. But no, just one! The only twins in our family is my father who is a fraternal twin. So I'm thinking the identicals were just an anomaly. I pressed my doc for an 8 wk ultrasound, though. I just had to see it for myself.
