Actually she is still in coma Frown . I got oscilloscope today, so i hope i can find her heartbeats on ECG.

Im afraid that i'll have to consider replacing the original speakers in future. If anyone have experience about the alternative speakers, all the advices are more than welcome. Smile

Nice box Wink. I hope you can fix it. Did you got it from here, Finland or from ebay or something?

muto, its from ebay. I think triple sevens are quite rare up here in the north. ^^

If you want to replace your speakers, an interesting thread is this one: http://stereo2go.com/eve/forum...96027254/m/627104033

What are the symptoms of your current problem?

kuperkeikka - 2009-11-04 05:12

kenpat, thanks for the tip.

Current problem is a silent left line-in. The amplifier and the speakers work well while playing radio or cassette, so i think the failure is on line-in circuit board. Today im trying to find out with oscilloscope where the sound stops.

Maybe it's the input selector switch.

These Sharps are not so common in Finland. A lot of Philips boxs tho Smile.

muto's got a point...mine was in rough shape when I got it and I had a similar problem...sprayed a little deoxit (contact cleaner) on it and worked the switch back and forth a few times and voila! problem solved.

You'll find the problem with an o-scope for sure... Nod Yes

i wish i knew how to use an o-scope

Typical problem with all kind of boomboxes. Get something like "KONTAKT PRF 7-78" and clean the switch. Atleast Partco Oy is selling it. I'm pretty sure you will get it to work.
