docs - 2010-08-19 10:14

Haha...

docs - 2010-08-19 10:20

Now this thing is huge, its nice quality not tacky like I thought it would be. Fully working, just needs a clean. A beauty addition to be honest. I'll try get better pics when i can take it outside. What you think ?

im.out.of.hear - 2010-08-19 10:29

Looking pretty darn good doc..got a familiar style to the sharp HK9000,i like the lights and love the lit up Graphic sliders...yeah your right,we cant really tell how big it is,it sure looks a biggun..

docs - 2010-08-19 10:51

It's really dark over here at the moment and I can't get great quality pics.
Here it is with a couple of fairly good sized boxes. Its about the same height as the Tec but wider and deeper. 33" wide and 14" high.

very nice DOCS congrats Wink
what,s the make of this one? is it a jap box?? Big Grin

docs - 2010-08-19 12:33

No LL this is a european thing, bought it from Germany. I've never seen one before and it wasn't expensive for such a great box. The name on the front is Kamasonic, not checked the rear labels yet.

lav.loo - 2010-08-19 13:01

ah right,i was just curious DOCS, i thought it may have been taiwanese or korean Wink

docs - 2010-08-19 13:40

Well tbh it could well be but it does have 220v only and has a two pin lead from the back. Thats the only reason I believed it to be a european model. Every time I look at it though it looks better every time. The sound is nice and the weird thing is the 10 ban equaliser seems split into 2x5 with 1 set affecting the left speaker and the other the right speaker. A clean on the contacts and tape heads is all thats needed. yay.

docs - 2010-08-20 15:39

Model: KA1000.

im.out.of.hear - 2010-08-20 15:46

the one i had doc was a Supra Hk9000,it was massive and loud, looked exactly like a Sharp,it even had Apss and Apld, which is only found on sharp boxes..my then girlfriend bought it for me for my 18th birthday, wish i knew where that box was now..never seen one before, and never seen one again..

docs - 2010-08-20 15:51

Ahh thats a shame, I think there are only a few of these kind of boxes around now which is a shame.
You are right, this one has Sharp looking features too and one of their other models the KA-990 must be an aka for sure.

im.out.of.hear - 2010-08-20 16:02

the speakers on mine were more like yours, not the FD ones, the centre section on mine was simular to that, but mine had pitch control that speeds the decks up and down, also had like karaoke on it aswell..

oldskool69 - 2010-09-06 16:58

Looks good but I do believe it is a variation of the Sharp WF series. Smile

superduper - 2010-09-06 18:51

I think it's related more to Lasonic than the Sharp WF. I'll bet somewhere in the back label, it will say it's made is Asia somewhere instead of Europe.

You're right. I didn't really take a hard look and then saw the other in the following pics. Wink

That mirrored LED panel is reminiscent of the TRC-975. I bet the meter flashes in Mono (or fake stereo) too, just like the TRC-975.
