...it definitely has some of the hardest hitting bass you will find in a one-piece box. When the eq is adjusted properly the sound is very good and it is loud as hell!!

Haven-t had the chance to listen to one yet. But as my collection grows, i guess i-ll get one eventually.

Hi, mellymelsr! I know this message post of yours is close to five years of age, but that's a minty-looking Lasonic TRC-931 that you got hold of in those days. I understand that you posted the message to show the stickers that you found to "dress up" your boombox, but it sure looks like you found that good-looking Lasonic already with the stickers ! My brother and I once owned a Lasonic TRC-931 (at least, I think the model designation was TRC-931 and not TLC-931 ), but it had just one shortwave band -- tuning, if I remember correctly, from 4 megahertz to 12 megahertz -- unlike your fine-looking machine that appears to have two shortwave bands (the ideal minimum for me in terms of analogue-tuner models ). Your November 24, 2010 post here describes your TRC-931 as "loud as hell!" Hmmm ... what's its shortwave-tuning like? Picked up any trans-oceanic broadcasts lately  ?
