another super trade!!

lav.loo - 2011-01-11 14:00

ok guys, i maybe getting known round here for trading my boxes a little too much Big Grin
but when you got a member living so close to do these trades with...well why not.
anyway this may not come as a surprise but the nice 3 piece boxes i aqquired from member AMIGA A300 just last week, have been traded already, yes me and member DOCS who is a smashing guy, struck up a deal the other day.
he took my, jvc pc55, sharp gx300, sharp wf 939 bk, and a nice little freebie too, i traded for a sharp gf 9595, another one of my fave boxes the philips d8614, and a nice radiotone blue star, which is a very nice more rare unit.
all 3 boxes are in great condition as always from DOCS, they are all functional and i have to say that i am very pleased with my latest trade, the pics below may not do these boxes justice, but i assure you, they look fantastic in the flesh, what else can i say apart from i am very happy, so if anyone thinks i have been had over here, i can assure you that nothing could be further from the truth!
enjoy pics below, and i appologise for the dismal quality Wink

Top stuff LAV LOO. I am happy that we are able to trade whenever we feel like it and both parties be happy with the outcome. LAV LOO is a pleasure to deal with and a top notch guy and glad we get on so well enjoying the hobby we both love dearly.
I'm really happy with the trade as always and until the next one I'm going to enjoy putting my finishing touches on these! Thanks LAV LOO.

I've taken some pictures but lighting is poor once I am home from work so sorry for the bad quality. More will follow on better brighter days Smile

looking very good indeed DOCS, glad your happy with the trade too, you see sometimes people may get the wrong idea about what a good trade is, a good trade to me is about swapping boxes that each of the party are happy with, it's all about personal taste, not about being ripped off, as some peeps have mentioned around here Nod Yes
anyway thanks again for another great deal DOCS, hope we can continue to do so in the future, but for now, let's keep on enjoying what we love, and not let other peeps opinions get in the way of this great hobby/passion, seems some people love a bit of drama, shame Big Grin Wink

Hey Lav, how does the Blue Star sound? I just noticed it's one of those that has loads of AKA's.

lav.loo - 2011-01-11 16:14

hey RA always a pleasure, the blue star sounds great, it goes loud and has a nice all round sound to it, i really love it, this ones a keeper for sure Big Grin
not sure what it's AKA'S are but i would like to know, if anyone can help here Wink

pioneer - 2011-01-11 17:17

Hi Lav seen that box under many AKA'S names Ken Tech for example.I also have a box like that sharp with spectrum E.Q. but on mine it's fake, and under a different make model.

lav.loo - 2011-01-11 17:23

hey PIONEER thanks for the AKA on the blue star, i would never of known it had AKA'S if it had'nt been mentioned.
if you look at the box under the sharp 939 you'll notice that it's very similar to it, but that is a box called fortune, and it;s not got half the quality of the sharp, but looks very alike Wink

Here are few more of your blue star's AKA's.

Sankei TCR-S90

Black version with equalizer
Sankei TCR-S93

And I've seen it with other names.

There are litereally dozens of AKA's for the Bluestar. Toshiba label one of them too.
May I refer you to this.
