i got lucky man , i tell you this thing pure thumps.ira is a great guy .

The vumeter is VFD (fluorecent) ? .
It looks great with the lighted dial window !!!
Love it's design, remebers me some vintage recivers with dual readout ...
When was it launched ?. What's the speaker size (the woofer).

What RX one piece you think is at the same level ?. A RX7000 ?.
The best of this BBX is that's a Panasonic, sure.

me too man ,i can only testify that ira completed the deal as good or better than anyone i have dealt with so on my end i can only say what my experience was in my dealing with him ,anything else that was agreed upon between other members and how they were treated in those dealings unless stated in public are basically unknown to others .

Not expecting to rope anyone in, god knows there has been enough bloodshed as of late.

Without knowing all the details, sometimes things just get funny like that.

Look at all the work I did on the remotes......everyone saying yep, want one want one......they are done and ready.....time to sell em.....everyone is gone or has a reason not to buy.....hey sh it happens....life sucks.....just the way things go sometimes.

I personally like Ira, so hopefully everythiing works out.....floyd had no idea I'm sure.....its not like he is going to send it back....so just have to roll with it until the next one comes along.

Congrats JC Floyd on your newly acquired Panasonic RX-C100. You beat me to it. I sent "red" a PM and I was going to buy it but he had just sold it to you by the time I found out about it.

That's a mightly sweet looking box you have there. You're very fortunate to have one as I'm having a difficult time finding these myself, let alone one in "MINT" condition. I wonder how many of these were actually made. They seem to be rare.

Might I recommend you getting some acrylic white paint and clean those woofs up. You'll realy enjoy the flash then.

SUCCESS: The single piece units RX-7xxx/5xxx series sound great but can't thump like these. Thier main disadvantage is that the RX-C100 has dedicated enclosures for the speakers. The RX-C100, if I'm right, was released in '83. The woofs are 6.5"

Rim...I ain't got nothin but love for you man. But whatever your beef with Ira...keep it private. Not public. It creates needless static and puts us who think a lot of you both in awkward positions.

thank you ,one things for sure it pumps solidly with no mercy it does sound similar to the m90 with the wide open airy sound and solid bass more so than the m90 only cos of the sealed speaker boxes.you can really feel the wind coming from these woofers.lol

thanks guys i would never mod a good box without being able to put it back the way it was as good as new,i would rate this box as the 3 piece m90 sounding box ,an m90 is nothing to sneeze at either,.i guess you could say more bass than the conion or m90 better highs than the conion but the highs are equal to the m90 so its the pefect combo louder and cleaner than the conion louder and equal to the m90 in highs but the rxc100 hhas better bass.

yes just on a smaller scale ,i think this box is just superb i mean it's that simple.it's not the most sophisticated but it has what it needs and that great in it self. it has great features but the best ones are sound and volume,build quality and awesome looks = a winner to me.

Try duct tape (get pretty good kind, not the cheap-o.... you tape it on (in, but try not to get it outside) the dent and pull away quickly. That usually works. It may take a few pulls to get it all to pop out....

the woofers have aluminum dust caps once there dented its almost impossible to make em look right again.the best method to fix the dented plastic ones is to use a vacume cleaner hose it pulls the dent right out.
