Sharp GF-575 with Labels!

master.z - 2009-04-08 07:33

Here's a project that our own Mr. Fatdog has been working on for some time now. His great attention to detail and non-willingness to compromise quality paid off in a major way with these great reproduction labels for my Sharp GF-575.

I had a 575 durring my college dorm days @ OSU, with the cassette door labels intact but not the speaker tag. Well I sold it back then to replentish my supply of ramen noodles and cheap beer. Fast forward 10 years later and I really wanted my old college box back. I found this one on the Bay that needed deck A fixed, at a bargain price. I know it may not be the best sounding unit or even that great to look at but it brings back TONS of memories,(Of the crazy NSW variety!) and was worth me fixing it's deck and giving this box a second chance.
I then hooked up with Fatdog and his masterful label making skills and here are the results.
Enjoy!
