A few more finds

aza - 2009-01-17 16:53

I haven't had the chance to post lately because of internet problems but a new modem seems to have sorted that out, so i would now like to take the chance and wish everybody a safe and happy new year !

Here are some of the ones i picked up over the holiday break Smile

Sony CFD-5. the cd works perfect but i need to fix the tape player but in excellent condition and it was a bargain.

National RX-5005. I had not seen one of these before. In near mint condition. Would you believe i had to bid on a pedestal fan at a live auction to get this ! The 'old cassette player' had been thrown in as a bonus.

Sanyo 9970k with coaxial speakers, dont know what that means but the red looks nice Smile

RX-F6. The red one was saved for me at the local dump. It is fully working. These RX mini's are great, soft touch mech, line in, ambience, TPS. Feature packed and sound great. Can you believe someone was going to leave this at the dump !

An Auto Sonic. Jens ? I have pinched the good parts for my Vinix below.

I have a collection of mono's that i really like and this one had a feature i hadnt seen before. The centre part of the timer spins quit fast while the outer arm does the count.

I have had this one for a while but i thought i would throw in a pic of one of my big players !!

Hey Vladi, if you are interested in 3 piece Sharps im going to take a chance and say here is the loudest of them all ! Anyone ?? It seems to have a modern take on the GF-800 and 900 style. And regardless of what the real output is compared to the PMPO on the front, this is loud with base you can feel. Also the speakers are ported at the back.

Oh and is this just too much Big Grin

As always thanks for looking.

Good old zip ties around the handle of the box and on the handle bars. The mini has some heat damage on the bottom anyway so i thought it wouldnt hurt to strap it there. The weight is supported on the gooseneck. I have been trying to put this bike together for a while and its not done yet but i thought i would add the box for fun.

redbenjoe - 2009-01-17 17:58

Cool
thanks
zip ties never break (or almost never) Big Grin

I think this means the little red speakers (tweeters?) are in front of the big ones. Not behind external grills as usual. Roll Eyes
Nice combination! Nod Yes

Thanks TA

The Crown is a 970F. I only ever display a few of what i own and this is one of them, a very classic boombox look i think and well worth being in view Smile
Can only use line-in as the motor is dead but sounds pretty good too !
