Fantastic Hi Res. pics of a most beautiful Sanyo brother. You look like a younger Tim Robbins fyi Wink

fatdog - 2009-03-24 17:03

I Agree with Adam. Those are some fantastic pictures! Even with the spots on the speaker grille, it looks like a million-dollar box! Cool

petey.awol - 2009-03-24 17:12

I have been stoppedo n the street a hundred times and been told I look like John Malkavich. (However the people who say this are old ladies. Never a hot 20 something.)

ash25 - 2009-03-24 17:52

Skippy I just noticed the picture files on my computer say Canon EOS 5D. If this means anything to you?

Everyone thanks for the praises. To be honest the way my friend shot the box really makes it looks superb. (I havent seen him in 4 years and here I come lugging some boxes over.)

vladi123456 - 2009-03-25 16:28

Canon 5D was a top of the line Canon as far as I remember. Your friend must be a professional photographer - only they can afford spending THAT kind of money on cameras and lenses

master.z - 2009-03-25 18:19

Man that's class! It looks like an "Executive boombox". It would look right at home in an office.

billpc55 - 2009-03-25 18:19

i have that camera too.
btw that sanyo is really nice.

vladi123456 - 2009-03-25 19:16

How do you like your Canon? What kind of glass you got?? I hear you almost HAVE to use L-glass with full frame Canons - is that true??

jameswp67 - 2009-03-25 19:22

Beautiful radio, great shots!

moncheeto - 2009-03-25 20:00

jlf - 2009-03-25 20:13

Woodgrain...

Beautiful.

Amazing box and photos!

jlf - 2009-03-25 20:14

Petey....

Did you say you might have to let this one go?!

Did I read that right?

Yeah it's going to be sold one way or another. If you guys want to make an offer I can't refuse, please do so. (In PM of course) The pictures were really inteded for the Ebay auction. I linked up with my friend who I aint seen in 4 years and knew he was doing all this photography stuff. The light bulb went off in my head.

petey.awol - 2009-03-26 06:28

Side note; the tape is stuck in play/pause/record because the original ower was playing something through the AUX and had it that way. I cant get it out of this mode. Plus the right aentena is gone, the mount is in. The left aentena is cracked off at tip. I have still pulled in stations. Other then that, everything else is a-ok.

petey.awol - 2009-03-27 14:30

No real offers. I'm going to type up the Ebay auction description and put it up tomarrow. (Most likely, Sunday.)

I LOVE MY 5D.
i got it from a pro photographer that i traded some guitar stuff i had laying around.
i only have a stock canon lens on it,but it takes fantastic photos as is.
i really love my camera but i dont get to use it as much as i would like.

vladi123456 - 2009-03-28 10:31

I would recommend a 50mm 1.8 lens from Canon - if you already don't have one. It costs about $80, but the pictures look like million bucks Big Grin
