How may of you missed this gem?
Once again, looking in the 'wrong' place for boomboxes produced a result!
This Sharp GF-9494x was in 'Cassette Players' for a BIN or Best Offer for like $130.
My offer of $100 won it!
Its ugly and dirty, and I mainly bought it in case my MINTY 9494 needs new internal parts to get working again. Hopefully it wont, so I can keep this one fully intact too.
I learned from the 'greats' here to check some non boombox searches on ebay and it never worked for me, till tonight!
I cant wait till it gets here!
Ive decided to narrow my collection from this point forward to just Sharps. Makes it easier for me to do that with so many amazing boxes and options. I know several of you here have one brand you stick too. Ive joined your ranks.
Now... what to do with my Grail Marantz CRS-7810?

Went out for a run this morning... came back to a big box at the door! Yeah! I know its gotta be a Sharp GF of some sort!
Take it in, open it up; and hit my knees and pray. This dont look good!
Well, well! It seems prayers work! Its even nicer than the description and ebay photos! Yes! This is a minor miracle! It looked really bad, and in person; aint half bad at all!
Antennas are actually even a bit nicer than my minty 9494x I got last month! Meaning, no missing tips.
Now... Can anyone read Arabic? I wonder what market this originally sold into?
Should I pick up another set of amazing grill stickers from FD? Or should I have one in the collection with, and one without?
I still cant believe I scored this for $100. If my other one is a 9 out of 10, this is a strong 7.5!
Oh... and the cassette mech doesnt work, although Ive not messed around with it yet.

In fact, I dont even think its fresh water proof! Keep that in mind while bathing.

It's a nice box, congrats! I dont normally like the squared speakers but they're very nice on this one!!!
