HEY BROTHER, GREAT MINDS THINK ALIKE!!! BELIEVE IT OR NOT, MY VERY FIRST BOX WAS THAT ONE. MY FATHER BOUGHT IT FOR A CHRISTMAS PRESENT FOR ME. (GOD BLESS HIS SOUL)

I USED TO TAKE IT TO SCHOOL WITH ME AND EVERYTHING. BACK HOME IN NYC, WE HAD A RADIO STATION CALLED DISCO 92 WKTU, AND BELIEVE IT OR NOT, I STILL HAVE A CASSETTE TAPE THAT I MADE ON THAT RADIO, DATED APR. 22, 1978.

IT STILL PLAYS CLEAR, BUT HAS A FEW FADED SPOTS FROM OVER THE YEARS!!! UNFORTUNATELY, BACK THEN IN THE NYC METRO AREA, PEOPLE WERE GETTING MUGGED FOR THEIR BOXES, AND LO AND BEHOLD, TWO BIG GUYS JUMPED ME, AND STOLE THAT BOX FROM ME. I HAD JUST TURNED 18 THE MONTH BEFORE.

YOUR FIRST BOX, IS JUST LIKE YOUR FIRST GIRLFRIEND, YOU NEVER FORGET THEM. THAT'S WHY I LIKE THIS REALISTIC 14-805 SO MUCH, BECAUSE IT REMINDS ME OF THAT LLOYDS!!! IT LOOKS GREAT TOO, GET YOURSELF ANOTHER ANTENNA FOR IT. DOES THE CASSETTE STILL WORK?

cassette does not play well, It's just here to pretty up my collection.
Hey, you lived in NY when Hip Hop was born huh? Cool... I've been getting into photo books about the subject by Martha Cooper Charlie Ahearn and Jamal Shabazz.
Shame about the box tho, guess that's why we collect...
