- 2009-01-02 17:19

Thanks for the comments guys! I've been wanting to do a shot for quite sometime...however time and other issues weren't on my side.

I would like to take this time to publicly thank Jens (*TPR*) for helping me make this picture and thread happen...and for letting me re-join S2G once again for a second time around. Jens you are the BEST Wink

-gsbadbmr

jvc.floyd - 2009-01-02 17:23

gordie man that has to be a record ,18 complete working c100's in one place all owned by the same dude ,now that is a record to me.

- 2009-01-02 17:30

Thanks floyd, i owe you also for the tech advise that you gave me this week...to be able to have the GUTS to take apart my Conions and change trim pieces, and to clean them all up. They look much nicer in person Big Grin

For newer members that don't remember me from before, i just want to let you know that i found most of these Conions in the wild and from my good contacts across north america...only 3 came from e-bay, and 1 of the 3 was from a member here!

HOLY SH!T!!! You'd have to go way back in the day to the Conion factory to find that many Conions in one place!

Yo, you most definitely stepped your game up after you stepped off 'cause I think you only had about half of what you have now...

I believe I've found some new wallpaper! Nod Yes Big Grin Cool

Thanks for posting!

Thanks MONO...and if you use this as your wallpaper just to warn you...my 80's electron blue Adidas jacket is HARD on the eyes first thing in the morning when you start up your PC Laugh Out Loud

jimski, I only have 4 Conions...2 that i found in my city (including the Gold C100) and the other 2 were shipped. I have one Helix that i purchased from S2G member johnnychillfactor (where are you BTW Big Grin) and the rest are all Clairtones Wink

-gsbadbmr

fatdog - 2009-01-02 18:41

Insane!

I might as well quit my search for a Conion/Clairtone/Helix. There's some sort of black hole vortex in Canada that seems to suck them all up there. Laugh Out Loud

gluecifer - 2009-01-02 18:45

Haha! AMAZING pic Gordie!
Congratulations on excelling so excellently in pure excellence.

Rock On.

jimski - 2009-01-02 18:49

Yes, i'm from good ol' Canada. I have some REALLY good contacts here in Canada...no need to mention their names they know who they are so this helped me a lot...they were lucky enough to find the Conions before me Big Grin . I actually had 3 more Clairtones but sold them this summer because i needed some quick cash when i purchased my new house Big Grin I'm content with what i have now in my collection Wink

1 - My marriage

2 - the top 2 rows and single Gold Conion on top

Apart from that...the pic was WELL, WELL worth it Wink

Cool Cool

Yeah, imagine - if the economy was in great shape - selling the silver Conions for $800 each + shipping on eBay. That's $12000 (of course, not including shipping). Sell the gold Conion * for $1500... what the hell - $2000 'cause the chances of ever finding one bein' sold on eBay DO NOT exist... Simply put, that's a boatload of money!

EDIT: Whoa, I miscounted and discounted 2 silver Conions... Better make that $13600 for those. Big Grin

* Not that I would ever sell the gold Conion. In fact, if I owned one and somethin' happened at my crib while I was here, that'll be the only box I grab on the way out! Nod Yes

buzz70 - 2009-01-03 06:22

Ever seen that US cable show, "Antiques Roadshow"? I'd love to see him wheel those into the showroom and have them appraised. One of us should be there as the experts. Hope you have some insurance on those babies.
