Got this today at a swap meet. Cleaned up nicely, and very nice sound. Only thing that will need work is the tape player, belt probably. Someone added some of that steering wheel tape to the handle, makes it easier to carry, I guess. Not looking forward to taking this off there will be a sticky mess underneath. This ones a keeper though.

seems like that steering tape will drive you nuts getting that off - hope the handles good under it all - hows the sound ?

The sound is surprisingly loud. Good bass at low to mid sound levels, gets distorted at high levels. Highs are clear no matter the level. The tilt tweeters are a nice touch. So are the large meters beneath the tape deck. This box seems very solid, like a real workhorse.

Very nice find!! Those are like a 'posh' M9990. I have an M9990L and it sounds impressive, very bassy.

(picking up where I left off. Computer issues) But I had a Pioneer SK-95, and my shipmate had one of these. We used to Battle with our Boxes, and he'd kick my Butt everytime!!!

Make sure you get that steering wheel cover off. Keep it original. Alcohol should get that stuff off of it too!!!
