My Collection

trc911 - 2009-06-22 21:27

I am in the process of collecting enough boxes to make a collage of them, for my 15' by 10'wall and have been leaving flyers at my local flea markets and bulletin boards so hopefully I will be on my way to doing it

Here is a pic of my current set of boxes, please excuse the mess in my room, I just started moving back into it, notice most of my electronics are old except the ps3 on the floor Big Grin

Thanks, I like the looks of her too,but still not worth more than $30 if it even works IMO, it actually weighs less even with batteries than the tank that is THE LASONiC

I know it's a mess, and the boxes aren't as 'cool' as other folks on here, but they're mine and I love em for their character. I don't waste my money on them or kill people for them (like some people here No No Smile ) just a side hobby of mine that I find deals on and save them. no selling or anything, just admiring the style and grace of those older units and their better looks, sound, and performance.

thanks for understanding, I started when I was about 12 and traded an 8track tape player for a sanyo m9935k. It is just really neat to find these things nearly mint after spending years gosh knows where. I don't keep them there stacked, I just put them in the basement most of the time in boxes so they don't get messed up.

TRC, don't be so Self-Conscious. Your Boxes are COOL!!! I'm diggin' how you've got them arranged too!!! You've got the Infantry on the Bottom Row, the Special Units on the Middle Row, and the Heavy Artillary on the Top Row!!!

I'm a former Navy Man, I just cant help it!!!

sorry, I just know how people are about 3 piece boxes, but to be honest they are some of the better sounding ones made to date, especially better than todays 3 pieces Nod Yes

viennasound - 2009-06-25 00:59

Hey TRC, i wish i have owned in your age those boxes like you. Wink
Keep the fire burning.
Every saved box is for the future.

Most of my boxes are trash in the eyes of other people. They are no grails, but i love them.

Good work! Nod Yes
