Big is beautiful ...

... but the mid-size and small ones are nice too.
So last weekend was a big day for small boxes.
About 7 ones i carried home... Roll Eyes

The baby-discolite i posted in an other thread

And here are the shots from the "warrior of the wasteland" Big Grin
All pics in uncleaned condition - as i foud!

Let´s start with a PHILIPS D-8130.
Nice medium box with Spatial Stereo.
Condition quiet used, but ok.
All working

The Spatial Stereo Series are my favourite

Everything clean inside

Label:

Next one is this rustical flat TELEFUNKEN partysound R automatic:

Pretty good condition, everything works
The missing knobcover was still in my collection.

I´m sure Jens knows more about it.. Roll Eyes

Red light for radio working:

Green light for tape playing:

One for the base:

Funny is the eject function
One hit at the button, the door opens
Second hit, and the tape flips out.
Like Donald Duck´s Toaster Laugh Out Loud
>Tape Eject<

Next one is a MUSIKLAND Small+Slim.
Also known under some other brands...

There are problems with the volume.
It´s too weak. Must look why...

Nice little unit

Label:

Short break for uploading the second part... Smile

viennasound - 2008-12-17 07:56

Go on with part 2!

Then i found this nice FAIRMATE.
It´s hard to say what i like more.
The MUSIKLAND or the FAIRMATE.
What would you say?

The tape needs new belts

Pretty little box for holidays

I like the LED VU-meter

Backside:

Label:

Go on with the MUSIKLAND SurroundMachine
Most would say, nothing special.
But it sounds very well.
I love it for the power

Next time i try to make a short video

What do you mean about the optik?

The Digituner works fine
Little LCD display with Levelmeter

Short look at the top

Finally the label:

Last but not least i took a box i´ve seen the week before.
This old unique NATIONAL-PANASONIC:

I thought long about buying or not.
Was it 10euros worth?
What do guys say?

But it´s only dirty, nothing damaged!

And everything is working!
Very rare for this very old unit!

Short look at the scale:

Detail of the tapebuttons:

Label:

And all togehter now: Big Grin

Imagine: all at one flea shot:

All kinds of boxes...

Now i have to clean up and service all of them.
Will be a project for the christmas days... Wink

Thanks for watching. Smile

Some of those vintage ones really laid the foundation for what was to come later!

Can you imagine a Sharp GF-777 with 'wood grain' sides?! Smile

I like the Musikland! A German brand?
