Recent boxed boxes

Not grails but very nice radios all the same.
Neither owner i spoke to mentioned they had the original box and produced them as if it was expected that they would have them !
Was a nice surprise both times.

The first one, a Toshiba, was advertised as cassette radio only with no other info for $25 !
I rang the lady and she told me it was a silver Toshiba so i went to have a look.

The next one was bought by the owner in 1983 to copy cassettes for his home stereo but he said he only used it a couple of times and lost interest so he packed it back away and never used it again.

Thanks for having a look.

Geezum crow AZA! Kick arse radios.. I bet they still smell factory fresh too. Gotta be rare to get that Toshiba with mint antennas too.. they look designed to break.

Well done brother.

Rock On.

Thanks Glue. Yeah i had never seen antennas like those on the Toshiba before and thought they looked pretty cool.
The Sharp is definately my favorite. Its like brand new and faultless and yet not new so im not afraid to use it.

Look at the skateboard graphics on the first box!!!

Back in the early 80's, Southern California.... A Boombox was just as important riding pools as the skateboard itself!!!

Punk rock only of course... Smile
