minimalist 4636

ned.209 - 2011-02-10 18:50

well a picture is worth a thousand words.

its just a shell. thinking of getting rid of the buttons and smoothing it over with auto bodyfiller. whats in it. a tripath amp and 2 Visaton B200 speakers. and it sounds quite nice!
this is my new companion, the JC is just too freakin big.
hope all are well.

Can we see some "inside" pics?

ned.209 - 2011-02-12 04:51

thanks Hugo. Brigadier certainly, im getting a new bit for it next week and have to open it anyway, so ill take pics then. Hugo i never liked the lettering. this was actually the first box i bought off the internet, in 2004 i think it was. i never liked the lettering though. honestly it took a lil bit of bottle to do it, but i think it looks the f****** nuts. it reinforced and braced, so it feels solid and not flimsy like these do stock.

ill just bore the hell out of ye with the new bit cos nobody else will listen. im using this as my alarm clock, so, a guy built me a board that does the following in a 24 hour cycle

plug battery into board (power on)

on for 10 minutes
off for 5 hours (that how long i sleep)
on for 3 hours (thats how long it takes me to get up)
off for 15 hours 50 mins

and then repeats the cycle. all this is to conserve battery power. one batt should operate the setup for about a week/week and a half.
