my 2nd find ..,if this a nice find??

djalexx1 - 2012-02-21 09:19

im really impress of how it sounds,no big bass, but sounds very clear & loud without distortion at high levels, the quality of those white speakers are exactly as my yamahas ns-10m ( pro studio monitors world wide) they are almost flat response and what you hear for them its what you get ( that's what make them so reliable when mixing a record) and for the music i would listen on it like, newclews (jam on it), quadrant six (body mechanic) man parish ( hip bhop be bop) etc...of 80's break dance its sounds as it suppose to be listened in that time (my opinion) anyway... i find it in a classified add on the web,it was at 55 dollars, but the owner start making me stories about how much he tried to keep the unit at the end he dont want to let go,and i travel like 3 hours to get it so he knew i wanted it and tried to get more,so i stop the violin and give him $75.00,i might sell it to a forum memeber here that was looking for one, depends on the offer, everything works as should except the clock, but i would take care of that and fix it, question......did im going on the right track of collecting nice getho blasters?? im looking more for the types of street boom boxes i  saw over my youth in the break dance era, theres a jvc i like( the one on LL cool j front cover of his first album, i like a conion, another lasonic, a panasonic, may be a disco light, and 1 that plays records, ithink that would be enough, i just mention those cuz are the ones that will bring back memories to me, probably an old HOME  stereo with 8 track cassette an record player, that would be fun ,my first mixes i did on A SEARS unit... HOW many neddles i broke learning how to scratch, jajaja poor mom, never could listen to her records cuz needle was always broken, sorry mom!!.

It's an English thing, sorry.  When something has too much colour and snazzy lights we say 'it's a bit Blackpool pier'.
