Awesome looking pair.  For a newbee to the boombox arena ( olde boy with Walkman) what is the model number of the bottom one and the top box?  The bottom box what would you compare its sound to what other boxes?   Am a big fan of the Toshiba Walkman especially earliest ones.  Thanks J

Well john lad. You are asking me questions, i don`t know the answers to. The top one, is the rt-s913 (bombeat 40). The lower one, is, the rt-sx1000.

I thought, the orange one, would have got the photo location straight off. It`s a golf course, at la bretesche. Me, and my brother, went to france, in 92, for a week`s golfing holiday. We had 2 good day`s weather. The rest, were some of the worst storms france had seen. Ihave never seen rain, like we had in la boulle.

Give me chance mrkeith. I wanna get the sx1000 fixed up first. I wanna hear it on tape. Yeah RR, the 970, is deffo rarer. I have seen 2 in the last 10 years, compared to about 4 BB40`s. I like to see pic`s of lesser known models. M70s, 90s, after you`ve seen one, well. That one of vincents, was a bit special though. I`d like to see some of the japanese only models. Where are all the japanese forum members?
