Buddy of mine gave It to me,sound's pretty decent with the radio, Tape deck button's stuck but hopefully It's nothing serious. Certainly not a small box Lol.

nice ive one with some issue's but the right/left light's that show the power of the sound when playing is my favoret for this unit

347 Tony , did you look at the information label on the rear? Is it 10 watts rms per channel? I had one, these things crank huge! Your tape button that is stuck is probably a belt problem.. these boxes are fairly easy to work on . If you are attempting the belt, be sure to release the mechanism using your finger turn the capstan pulley.

if I had to pick between this Prosonic PQR 9850 & the M90

I would pick the Prosonic PQR 9850 aka Trident CX-473f as it has nearly the same sound output as the M90 but it's a simpler box to play with

I have to disgaree traveler.

I have both and while the Prosonic achieves great highs it doesn't carry bass very well. It's ambience is better than the 90 on Stereo Wide (actually sounds like faux surround) but the 90 has a sound second to none.

I will say this about the Prosonic, it doesn't chew batteries like the 90, has better "curb appeal"

That is a beauty,street box for sure.They sold them in canada under the Viking label,approx $380 when they came out,nice score there Tony!
