the Telefunken CC-9000 is by far the most desirable -- at least by me!

These boxes would be slightly more interesting.  Don't get me wrong, it's a great stash but it does sort of lack imagination.  There doesn't seem to be any really personal units in your collection with the exception of the cassette deck, it's almost as if you've just gone for the most popular units.  I hope these were all found reasonably cheaply in the wild.

soundboy - 2013-11-30 12:37

I see what your saying to me it doesn't matter why I bought them only will matter why I keep'em

soundboy - 2013-11-30 12:44

I believe the formats that I play through these units Is what makes my personal choices matter when I started collecting I bought a few that were found by myself then I found this site and the rest is history

brutus442 - 2013-11-30 13:55

Nope.

These are no good. I'll come over and dispose of them for you soundboy

Any 3 piecers' you'd go after SB?

soundboy - 2013-11-30 14:22

lol thanks brutus

Any 3 piecers' you'd go after SB?

if 3 piecers meaning removable speakers the one that comes to mind is a marantz

brutus442 - 2013-11-30 16:10

Well I think it's a great collection and would be more than happy with any of those machines! I dig the 1980's Sony Trinitron as well; and the cassette deck! Is it a Marantz?

soundboy - 2013-11-30 16:34

brutus I been meaning to ask do you now own an m90 I thought I seen on a thread you mentioned this if so how long has it been yours ?

stereo.mad - 2013-12-01 01:14

if I could only keep one the m90... only because if a got lucky I could sell the m90 for one of those stupid epay prices, then may be able to find another m90 and lets say an m70 and buy them again lol

Seb...looking at that TV I believe it's a RCA. My girlfreind's parents had the same model back in the day. I remember the gold accent strips  running vertical in the veneer.

That said my eyesight is about as good as this guys...

Hi Brutus; I think you are probably right, it does look a little like the Trinitron my brother had in the 80's but now I look again there are differences so my bad!! RCA are an American brand I believe, we don't see them in the UK!

soundboy - 2013-12-01 11:12

my bad its a RCA and the deck is Marantz it helps govern the power from my cd player to boombox
