That radio is probably older than they are, they just shouldn't be able to do that to it. It's not 'right'.

Looks like a couple of yahoos who just got finished watching "Office Space" and couldn't find an old fax machine to smash...so they go after a perfectly good boombox...

Stupid, but it'll happen.

Kids all go thru this phase.
I did when it was "cool" to take the badges off cars. At that age you don't think, you just "do". You have this huge mess of hormones & stuff going on... girls & all that too.
I'm sure not looking forward to my kids reaching that age. Thankfully my wife is a schoolteacher & knows how to handle teenagers.

Remember there are probably millions of boomboxes out there in the world, so getting upset about many of them meeting their demise is a sure way to being a sad puppy.
Of course, happening across some muppet filming himself purposely smashing one up & posting it on YouTube like he's some sort of entertainer doesn't help, but it's a "look the other way & move on" moment for me...
