Lasonic i931 Battery Question

the.bunyip - 2010-08-01 22:03

Alright, I got sent a Lasonic i931 in the post from the U.S and I put in 10 new, regular Duracell D batteries (Asian Duracells from a discount shop but still under the used by date) go to push the ON button and...nothing

Says in the battery compartment to use R20 or Alkaline. R20's are a just another name for a D battery or a special kind? I read some bloke saying he got two Lasonic i931's and they did the same thing as far as not working with batteries. Am I doing something wrong here or did I just a dog box?

Congrats on your new i931 Cool ...switch the button on the back....from AC to DC (should be located with back of box facing you around the upper right hand area)....Hopefully that should solve the problem...and if it did...to save battery switch it back to AC when batteries aren't in use because the clock will drain your batteries....just a few tips....
